ENTONCES Y HOY | N. CHAVARRI - B. TOGANDER

In 1972, Movimiento Música Más, an art performance group, premiered the piece Entonces y hoy, composed by one of its founding members, Norberto Chavarri. In 2019, 47 years after that event, Bárbara Togander, improviser and composer, revisited the work together with four improvisers. In this experiment, past, present and future merge in a constant back and forth of news, voices and other sounds.

RES NULLIUS II | DROR´S FEILER NO, ORQUESTA NOISE

In 2017, Dror Feiler, Swedish-Israeli composer, musician and political activist, visited Buenos Aires.
Together with cellist Cecilia Quinteros gathered a noise orchestra with local musicians who performed his work Res Nullius II.
The title of the piece refers to a Latin expression that means "nobody's thing", and is often used as an expression to designate that which has never belonged to any person. The main importance of res nullius is that it can be an object of occupation. Through it, a person may acquire a property simply by appropriating it, not depending on the passing of a specific period of time.

Cristian Martínez is an eclectic artist, creator of multiple projects, such as Norman Bates, Ariel Flores, Flowers from Heller, Kapul. Cataforesis is the experimental recording of his live-set, composed by DIY instruments and household objects.

SINAPSIS | FOTO

FOTO was a band formed by four musicians, Bárbara Togander (vocals and turntable), Wenchi Lazo (guitar), Hernán Hayet (bass), Diego Voloschin (drums), and two visual artists: Azucena Losana and Caro Andreetti. The sound and visual experience produced by the sextet was particular to each performance, as the group used improvisation as a tool of creation.
